V4V Chicago — A Value for Value Experience
V4V Chicago is a two-day celebration of Bitcoin, nostr, and freedom technology — powering a bitcoin circular economy right here in Chicago. Hosted at Fork & Coin (3938 N Central Ave, Portage Park, Chicago), this is a grassroots event built by plebs, for plebs.
Monday, September 14 — Main Event. Doors open at 2PM with the Bitcoin Bodega & Nostr Market, where local vendors and creators set up shop. Dinner kicks off at 5 PM at Fork & Coin, followed by a 7 PM departure on our charter bus to Avondale Music Hall for a live concert featuring Scardust & Abel James.
Tuesday, September 15 — Workshops + Marketplace. A full day of Bitcoin and freedom tech education, with sessions running from morning Bitcoin fundamentals through afternoon deep-dives on Lightning, nostr, and self-custody. Grab lunch and network at midday, explore the product marketplace in our outside patio, and connect with V4V minded individuals.
Choose the ticket that fits you: the Full Stack Pass ($121) gets you everything — Monday night dinner, the concert and bus, plus all of Tuesday's workshops, lunch, and snacks. The Dinner + Concert tier ($90) covers Monday night only. Tickets are purchased through Zaprite at chicagobitcoincollective.com/events — spots are limited. You can also choose to join us just for the workshops and food on Tuesday, for $50.
